Q: Is RETO3D a film or digital camera?

A: RETO3D is a film camera, which means you need films to take pictures with it.

Q: What kind of films is recommended?

A: Any 35mm film is good to go. For sunny days, you could use films with ISO100-200. For cloudy days or indoor situation, use films with ISO400-800. Remember to use flash too!

Q: Why is the flash not working?

A: Before using the flash, please insert one AA alkaline battery at the bottom of the camera. Turn on the flash and wait until the flash-ready light turns red to shoot.

Q: Why only 23-24 pictures were taken for a 36-EXP film?

A: When you press the shutter, 3 half-framed photos will be taken by 3 lenses simultaneously, which takes up 1.5 frames. A 36-EXP film yields 24 3D pictures, while a 24-EXP film yields 18 3D pictures.

Q: How film photos could be sent to my phone?

A: RETO3D is a film camera. You would need to develop and scan the films first. After that, you could save the scanned, digitalized photos in your phone.

Q: How to develop and scan a film roll?

A: Take the finished film roll to any local film labs to develop and scan. Please remind the labs to scan it half-framed.

Q: How to make film photos into 3D GIFs?

A: Use RETO3D APP to assist you in making GIFs. Just upload the photos to the APP and follow the APP's instructions.

Q: Why are the photos out-focused?

A: RETO3D is focus-free but the object has to be put at least 1-meter far from the camera.

Q: Why are the photos appeared dark?

A: The photos will be underexposed if they were taken in a dim environment without the proper use of flash.

Q. Do you ship worldwide?

A. We ship worldwide.

Q. How much is the shipping cost?

A. It will be automatically calculated when you check out. The shipping rate is according to the weight of your order.

Q. How long does it take to get my order?

A. We will process the order within 2-3 working days. For most of the countries, it usually takes 7-14 working days after dispatching. It may be longer if held by custom.

Q. Can I track my order?

A. Once the order dispatched, you will receive the tracking information.

Q. Does the shipping fee include the import tax/duty?

A. The shipping fee does NOT include any import tax/duty. For more information, please contact your local authorities.

Warranty

What is your return policy?

If the product is defective within 14 days of receiving the product, please contact us. We will replace the product. Please note that we can only provide exchanges but not refund. You must send back the item by the carrier of your choice to the our office that handled your order. You are responsible for payment of the return shipping cost and we will not reimburse return shipping charges on any item after 14 days from the day of purchase.

What is your warranty policy?

After our 14-day, we also provides a 90 Days limited warranty to ensure that our products are free of defects. The warranty is as follows:

This limited warranty does not apply: 

1. to cosmetic damage, including scratches or dents; 

2. to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, mishandling, misplacement, or alteration; 

3. to damage caused by fire, earthquake, electrical power problems, theft, or other external cause;

4. to damage caused by operating the product outside Reto Project published guidelines and/or with incompatible accessories or a third party device; 

5. to a product that has been disassembled ;

6. to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the Product; 

7. if serial number has been removed or defaced from the Product; 

8.to damage caused as a result of improper transportation or packing/packaging when returning the Product;
